Removing ethanol alcohol from your herbal medicines

Please consider removing the ethanol alcohol from her herbal medicines before ingesting them.

To make the liquid herbal medicines of European Herbal Medicine today ethanol alcohol is used.

Ethanol alcohol is a 96% proof alcohol distilled from sugar cane leftovers or grape seeds and skins. This is used with water to be used as the liquid solvent for blending the herbal plant matter into. This solvent mixture works to extract the medicinally active ingredients from the herb material into the liquid. Traditionally and historically brandy was used in the monasteries and the homes of the wealthy. And apple cider vinegar was used by the poor.

This method of making herbal medicines condenses the strength of the medicinally active ingredients and works to preserve the medicines. It also supports us to capture the energy of the plants into our herbal medicines. It supports us to choose the best quality plant material and to preserve this original energy in our medicines.

Ethanol alcohol can be toxic to the body and tastes pretty awful. Your body might not want any.In my practice we advise removing the alcohol from your medicines because we do not want to risk distressing the bodies of adults or children.

METHODS FOR REMOVING THE ETHANOL ALCOHOL FROM EACH DOSE OF YOUR MEDICINE:

1. The night before you need to take the herbs add all the next days doses to 20mls boiling water in a mug. Leave overnight and the alcohol will disappear/ evaporate away.

2. Each time you need a dose, first boil some water, add a small amount of the boiling water (20mls) to a mug, add your dose of herbs and leave it for 10 - 20 minutes and the alcohol will evaporate away.

You can make it taste even better by adding some honey or by pouring the medicine, after the ethanol has evaporated out, into a small amount of fruit juice just before drinking.

THANK YOU FOR USING THIS IMPORTANT GUIDELINE FOR YOUR BEST HEALING POTENTIAL.
