calendula

Calendula is a bit bitter and a bit sweet, salty and cooling, drying, decongesting, stimulating and softening. It is antiseptic - anti-bacterial, anti-microbial and anti-fungal. Added to my creams it fights infection, dissolves and resolves bruising, cools and calms inflammation and draws out and disperses the bruising and fluidy swellings of damaged tissue. It stimulates immunity and removes lymph congestion, restores veins and capillaries, assists tissue repair and prevents scars.
