Hypericum is sweet and astringent, cool dry and a bit bitter. It’s actions on the body restore, relax, and stimulate. Added to my creams this precious plant gives anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic, muscle relaxing pain relief with anti-bacterial and anti-viral medicinal actions. It soothes and heals damaged nerves, eczema, dermatitis, viral & bacterial skin infections, psoriasis, nervous skin eruptions, wounds, bruises, varicose veins, sunburn & mild burns. It also relaxes and soothes tense, knotted muscles.

Traditionally used internally and externally to resolve the nerve pain of neuralgia, fibrositis, sciatica, bruises, sprains & strains, rheumatic and arthritic pain and inflammation, herpes , shingles , chicken pox, school sores, nappy rash, tension, insomnia, headaches, depression.
